The Morgan Stanley Environment and Social Finance Forum and the Microfinance Club of New York are proud to host a panel on Private Equity in Microfinance on Tuesday, November 17 at the offices of Morgan Stanley in New York.
Although private equity investing in microfinance institutions is still in its infancy stage, it is fast-growing and has become a larger allocation in institutional investors' portfolios as part of both their impact investing and emerging markets strategies. Despite the uncertainty around exit opportunities, equity investing in microfinance is still attracting more and more attention. Panelists will discuss the challenges and opportunities of equity investing in microfinance institutions.
